Nonna Maria creates artesian soaps which means every batch will be slightly different as I play around with herbs, spices, and clays for color. Some may be only one and done some may stay around a while. This is as much art as it is beneficial and cleansing.

Hopeful suds!! I promise, there is a better whey. (See what I did there?) Soap is not bad, but what humans have done to it ~ IS. I started making soap when I realized how deceptive even the handmade soap industry was becoming. Instead of natural lye they are incorporating synthetic chemicals, fragrances, and dyes. ALL THE STUFF I WANT TO REMOVE FROM MY LIFE!!!
I believe simple is best and healing can be found by removing toxins. Getting back to the ancient paths is healing for my skin.
I believe in high quality luxury oils saponified by natural lye scented with essential oils and colored with beneficial clays to wash my skin instead of chemical detergents with unnatural fragrances and endocrine disrupting dyes.
Cold process soap making is simple and modern technology affords us the gift of consistent results. I love incorporating whey leftover from cheesemaking, food grade products, and essential oils into my Artesian soaps. The only legal promise I can make is soap will clean. You can compare ingredients to choose what is best for your skin.

I believe simple is best and healing can be found in our food. I have walked over a decade long healing journey realizing more and more what I put into my body matters.
This will look different for everyone as we are not all the same, however, the PATH to healing is a journey we can walk together. Deciding to be healthy will always be one foot in front of the other heading in a health conscious direction. Slow and steady wins the race. Life is a marathon, not a sprint.

I love all things cheese!! Cheese is not bad, but what humans have done to it ~ IS.
I had to give up dairy for almost a decade until I found raw A2/A2 milk!! Now I can eat my own homemade cheese and do not get sick! I honestly believe it has been the industrialization of dairy that is my biggest problem though I can't prove that. I have also worked to eliminate citric acid from my diet and skincare products.
Cheesemaking is probably my most challenging area. I definitely can't say it's simple but it has been worth it.

The lie of independence and self-help culture has led to many becoming sad, lonely, and depressed because they don't understand why they are failing at doing this all by themselves. They say "art is like therapy" but I say it's better! Creating your own personal piece of art often can give a person the opportunity to nonverbally process many of their repressed traumas finding freedom.
Hopeful Creations Studio gives this opportunity to those we feel would benefit from this process. We utilize glass fusing as our art medium and this process is NOT for everyone for a multitude of reasons.
Hope Will Arise ministries reserves the rights to exclusively determine who might benefit from this process as the studio is located inside our home with the ability to climb stairs and cutting glass being non-negotiable requirements to participate.

It's time to recognize that
we are not called to do life INFLUENCING everyone.
This is simply impossible.
I believe in following the model of Jesus by focusing on the 12 God called me to walk hand in hand with on this journey called life, and have community with my 120.
When we follow this Biblical example we avoid spreading ourselves too thin. This allows us to then IMPACT the 5,000 while forever INFLUENCING our 12.
It's time to figure out WHO God has called you to serve.
